Its been a long time since I have read a book where the language and ideas are so rich. Not something I tear though, but rather something I savor. And I love it that it’s about climate change and big corporations and thoughtful individuals. Lots of people write novels, a few gifted individuals can write literature.

What an extraordinary tale, and told with such depth and passion, so elegantly crafted. Last Stop Before Tomorrow is a book that kept me on the edge of my seat from page one to the very end.  Hicks has painted characters of deeply differing backgrounds and of great depth who play off each other with grace, courage, and sometimes anxiety.  The book has sweep, velocity, and power. My great hope is that Tim Hicks will write another novel soon

The internal dialogues are fascinating and I love the poetic use language. The writing is brilliant. It’s not just a story, it’s an experience.

This book is one of my favorite reads in a long time. It’s fun, full of radiant characters, and so crowded with history, philosophy, and science.

This is truly an amazing book! It gets better and better as one turns the pages and moves to the exciting though unsettling ending. And it provides so much information! – L. Bell, avid reader
